Description

TRS Besan Flour is a premium quality chickpea flour, highly valued in Indian cuisine for its versatility and nutritional benefits. Besan, also known as gram flour or chickpea flour, is a staple ingredient in many traditional dishes, such as pakora, besan chilla, methi thepla, and various snacks and sweets like barfi, ladoo, and halwa. With its mild, nutty flavor, besan enhances a wide range of recipes, adding a unique taste to the dishes. Chickpea flour is rich in plant-based protein, making it an excellent choice for vegetarian and vegan diets. Additionally, it is a great source of fiber, which aids digestion and helps maintain balanced blood sugar levels. Besan flour is also a perfect thickening agent for soups and sauces, and it can be used in gluten-free baking to create cakes, pancakes, and bread. Its versatility allows for culinary experimentation in both traditional and modern recipes. Besides its culinary uses, besan also has cosmetic properties – it is commonly used to make natural face masks that nourish the skin. TRS ensures top quality through careful milling and selection of chickpeas, delivering a healthy and natural alternative to regular flours that will elevate the taste and nutritional value of any dish. 100% ground chickpeas Pakora with vegetables: Pakora is an Indian snack with the addition of various variations of vegetables, which are dipped in chickpea flour dough (besan) and fried in oil.
