Sabudana Medium Aiva are medium-sized tapioca pearls made from cassava starch – easily digestible, naturally gluten-free, and ideal for fasting dishes (vrat). After soaking, they become pliable and translucent, making them excellent for absorbing spices and flavors. They are perfect for classic Indian dishes: sabudana khichdi with peanuts and cumin, crispy sabudana vada, as well as desserts (kheer/pudding), soups, and salads. Preparation: rinse in clean water, soak for 2–3 hours (or until the grains are soft), drain, and use in a recipe; for pudding, cook in milk or a plant-based drink until soft. Tip: To prevent the dish from becoming sticky, do not over-soak the pearls and fry the mixture briefly over medium heat. This product is additive-free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Store in a cool, dry place, tightly closed.
