Description
Palm Oil Afroase is palm oil intended for culinary use, particularly popular in traditional West African cuisine. Palm oil is obtained from the fruit of the oil palm and has been an important ingredient in dishes prepared for generations in Nigeria, Ghana, and other countries in the region. In African cuisine, it is used to prepare aromatic soups, sauces, stews, vegetable dishes, beans, fish, meat, and meals served with rice, yam, fufu, and other starchy products. Palm oil can give dishes a distinctive taste, aroma, and intense color, with the exact properties of the Afroase product depending on the method of processing and should be assessed based on the producer's information. It fits perfectly into recipes for egusi soup, okra soup, palm oil stew, various bean dishes, and traditional African sauces. It can be used for cooking, stewing, and other applications indicated on the packaging. Due to the natural properties of palm fat, its consistency may change with temperature – in cooler conditions, the product may thicken or partially solidify, and after heating, it becomes liquid again. This is a typical feature of this type of fat, and the change in consistency alone does not indicate a deterioration in product quality.
